We finished filming all the speaking parts at the beginning of this month. It's been a weird couple of weeks as suddenly everything isn't manic!

I have one more zombie hoard to organise, which I've been slacking on over the last couple of weeks as my schedule is rather overbooked on other things. But it's an essential couple of shots. There is one other peripheral scene to do, but it's not essential and could be cut if it becomes too much hassle. It depends on someone else making herself available and she hasn't managed over the summer, so I'm on the verge of just cutting it. I already added two more scenes in the last month to add a couple of extra laughs, and I want to get the last shots wrapped.

We have a couple of effects shots to do, which is the other reason I've taken a little longer than usual to get the zombie march organised. No sense using a tape for just a couple minutes! Setting these up won't be that hard, I need to just do it.

Meanwhile, I'm trying to make time to get the rough sequence done to pass to the editor as once we have the final locked sequence, I can organise ADR and work out where the music is going. We've had a change on that, but the result will still be really good.

The day to night conversion will take the longest, but my editor can be working on that while I look after the above. The timing is what is important for dubbing, sound effects, music sync, etc. Also, once I've got the rough sequence, I can pull out clips for the trailer.

It feels weird not to be organising shoots two at a time. Not that there's a lack of things to do, quite the opposite. But it's like sitting down after running a marathon. No worries though, I've already set up a Facebook group for the core actors for the next project.

This filmmaking thing is rather addictive. But Winter is no time for filming. Time to stay inside and do some more writing!
